We told you drop one was only drop one.
When the King Drop went live three days after the signing, we said more designs were coming — parade-route prep, throwbacks, ideas we couldn't announce yet. This was the one we couldn't announce yet. It needed its own post, because it's not really a shirt about a basketball player.
It's a shirt about what happens when the whole city gets under somebody's skin.
The design: Philadelphia, internalized
Front of the shirt: quiet. A small gold crown over PHL · 23 on the left chest. That's it. From across the bar you're just a person with good taste.
Then you turn around.
The back is the King himself — mid-dunk, crown floating above his head like Basquiat drew it there — and inside his silhouette is everything: the Liberty Bell, the Ben Franklin Bridge, City Hall, the LOVE sign, the skyline, the Rocky steps with the arms up, the keystone, and yes, a cheesesteak, because we know what this city is actually made of. He didn't just move here. Philadelphia got in him. So that's where we drew it.
The back reads like a farewell tour, because it is one
Under the artwork, printed like tour dates on a concert tee:
AKRON '84 · CLEVELAND '03 · MIAMI '10 · CLEVELAND '14 · LOS ANGELES '18 · PHILADELPHIA '26
Every stop of the greatest career in basketball history, ending with the only one printed in gold. And before you ask: Akron '84 isn't a typo — that's the year the kid from Akron was born. The tour starts at the very beginning, because that's how farewell tours work. It ends at EST. 7.24.26 · PHILADELPHIA, PA — the day the last city on the list became the last city on the list.
Sixteen years ago he told everyone where he was taking his talents on live television. This time the announcement fits on the back of a shirt.
Built like you've owned it since a parade that hasn't happened yet
This is the first oversized tee we've done, and we did it properly: a boxy, heavyweight, garment-dyed cut with a vintage-washed feel and a cracked, faded print — the kind of shirt that looks like it survived a championship run before the championship run. It comes in two colorways: Washed Bone with sepia ink and Pigment Black with cream, both wearing the gold crown, because the crown was never optional.
Fair warning on fit: oversized means oversized. It's supposed to drape. If you want it to fit like your other Philly Drinkers tees, size down. If you want it to fit like it came off a merch table in 1996, you already know your size.

Wear it with drop one
The It's A Philly King Tee is still the watch-party flagship, the Broad Street King still owns the parade route, and the South Philly quote tee is still undefeated around your one friend from Boston. This one's the piece you wear when the game isn't even on — and the drop still isn't finished.
Opening night, that building flips from twenty years of boos to the loudest ovation of his career in about four seconds. Six stops on the back of this shirt say it was always headed here.
Be wearing the last one when it happens.
The basketball collection has the whole King era covered — and the first cheesesteak is still on us, Bron. We're starting to think you're avoiding us.
